Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and the operator of Find You ("App", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your download, installation, and use of the App. Please read these Terms carefully before use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, opening, or otherwise using Find You, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the App on behalf of another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.

2. Description of the Service

Find You provides tools that may include, without limitation:

• Sharing your location with people who enter the invitation code you provide
• Viewing the real-time location of people who have authorized you
• Looking up a phone number that belongs to a user of the App, where a location result exists
• Reviewing location history, battery status, and last-update time for an authorized connection
• Creating geo-fence zones and receiving enter / leave alerts
• Managing trackers, including connect, stop, unbind, and block
• Optional advertising where enabled in your version
• Optional Premium features through in-app purchase
• Help, feedback, language, and general settings

Feature availability may vary by device, OS version, region, network conditions, subscription status, and App configuration.

3. License to Use

• We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control
• You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App without prior written permission
• Except as permitted by mandatory law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code

4. Acceptable Use and Consent

You agree not to use Find You to:

• Track, monitor, or attempt to locate a person who has not authorized sharing through the App
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm any person, or use location information for those purposes
• Share another person's location or invitation code with someone who is not allowed to see it
• Circumvent privacy controls, including block, unbind, stop-tracking, or a refusal to upload location
• Submit false profile information or misuse another person's phone number or invitation code
• Violate applicable laws, regulations, or the rights of others
• Interfere with, attack, scrape excessively, or disrupt the App, its servers, or its maps and APIs
• Abuse advertising, purchases, invitation codes, or feedback through fraud or automated tools
• Use the App in any manner that is illegal, abusive, or infringing in your jurisdiction

5. Location Data and Connections

• When you agree to upload your location, your coordinates, a place description where available, the time of the update, and battery level may be stored and shown to people you have connected with
• Background location is collected only if you grant the required system permission and have agreed to sharing. You can withdraw that choice in the App or in system settings
• An invitation code is a credential for connection. Treat it like a private code and share it only with people you want to see your location
• Phone-number lookup does not guarantee a result. It applies to users of the App, is for reference, and may be unavailable, delayed, or inaccurate
• Maps, distances, history routes, and geo-fence alerts depend on device sensors, permissions, and network conditions. They may be incomplete or wrong
• You can stop tracking, unbind, or block a connection. You can delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes your data and cannot be undone
• We are not obligated to retain location history longer than needed to provide the feature offered in your plan
• Feedback or suggestions you submit may be used by us to improve the App without obligation to compensate you

6. Advertising and Optional Purchases

• The App may display ads to support free use where advertising is enabled
• Ad content is provided by third-party networks and is subject to their own terms and policies
• Premium, where offered, may include subscriptions (such as weekly, monthly, or yearly) and a one-time lifetime unlock. Exact products depend on your store listing
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription
• Payment is charged to your store account. Activation, renewal, cancellation, restore, and refunds are subject to Apple App Store / Google Play policies and verified transaction status
• Premium benefits, such as longer location history, additional locations or trackers, phone-number location, or removal of ads, apply only while your purchase is active and may differ by version
• Abuse of ads or billing systems may result in feature restriction

7. Service Availability and Changes

• We may adjust features, map providers, history length, ads, prices, or settings when necessary
• We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or temporary service interruption
• We do not guarantee that every phone number, invitation code, or device will return a current location
• Some features depend on third-party networks, app stores, device location services, or OS permissions and may be unavailable at times
• Safety features such as geo-fence alerts are informational. They are not an emergency service and must not be relied on as the only way to protect a person

8. Intellectual Property

The App and related materials (including but not limited to UI, text, graphics, trademarks, logos, features, and code) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App without prior written authorization, except to the extent expressly permitted by law. Map tiles and place data may be provided by third parties and remain subject to their licenses.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis
• We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, or absolutely secure
• We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any location, route, distance, battery status, phone-number result, or geo-fence alert
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from network failures, device issues, inaccurate location, missed alerts, third-party map / ad / store problems, user misuse, unauthorized tracking by a user, or force majeure
• Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability shall be limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant paid service in the three (3) months preceding the claim (if any), or the minimum amount required by law

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may display third-party maps and ads and may integrate third-party services (stores, analytics, attribution, geocoding, and notification providers). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. You may delete your account in Settings. If you violate laws or these Terms, we may restrict or terminate access to services and reserve the right to pursue legal remedies. Sections that by their nature should survive, including acceptable use, disclaimers, liability limits, and intellectual property, will survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the App operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your place of residence require otherwise. Any dispute arising from these Terms should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, disputes may be submitted to competent authorities or courts as permitted by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will be revised when changes are posted. Continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
